Fermented from 100% fresh pressed apples, ATLAS Cider Co. has partnered with northwest farmers to source their premium fruit.  Creating fine cider starts with the quality and variety of apples and fruits that are pressed.  Their ciders start with a base that consists mainly of Cribbs, McIntosh, Honey Crips, and Granny Smith varieties.  Each variety is pressed to achieve a balance of sweetness, tartness, and dryness in the blended juice before it is fremented.  Using cold pressed technology allows them to retain the apple and fruits delicate aroma and flavors without the need to add an artificial or natural flavoring.  They also strive to be innovative and ATLAS is the first cider company in the world to infuse their traditional apple cider with a touch of aronia berry.  The aronia berry, which is native to North America and similar to the blueberry, has the highest concentration of antioxidants and tannins (found in cider apples and red wines) in the the world.  Their ciders are crafted in the heart of the Northwest in Bend, Oregon allowing environmentally friendly short transit times from tree to bottle.  A state of the art crossflow filtration system is used to polish and clarify the cider as it is moved to their temperature controlled conditioning tanks.
