 I AM...

  • A dedicated and reliable volunteer!

  • Comfortable talking to small or large groups of people

  • Comfortable talking while I cook/multi-tasking

  • Enthusiastic and engaging

  • Friendly and personable

  • Familiar cooking with seasonal produce

I WILL...

  • Design or find a simple, easy and delicious recipe to prepare at my cooking demo using a majority of seasonal and local foods procured on site at the Saturday Farmers Market

    • The Friends will help procure these foods either as donations or we will pay for them from farmers/vendors

  • Communicate with the volunteer coordinator about my menu idea the week before my scheduled cooking demo

  • Provide her with the recipe I will use for my demo the week before my demo

  • Bring any of my own cooking equipment/supplies that Friends does not provide (chef's knife, etc.)

  • Review and practice the Lane County Farmers Market rules regarding fire safety and safe food handling practices

I AGREE TO...

  • Show up on time for my 2 hour volunteer shift

  • Have a lot of fun volunteering at the Farmers Market and…

  • Feel great about myself as a contributing member of my community
