Excelsior Farm is a small farm just outside Eugene, Oregon operated by Jeremy and Ashli Mueller. Together they grow more than 100 varieties of fresh herbs, vegetables, and flowers in their 1 and 1/2 acre market garden. 

 

The farm provides abundantly for the Excelsior Restaurant, other local businesses, farmers market customers, and all their Harvest Basket Farm Partners (CSA) who sign-up to receive a weekly supply of fresh produce.

 

They farm without a large tractor and do 95% of the work in the field by hand.  They apply the latest developments in garden tool design and soil ecology to grow a lot of beautiful, highly nutritious food on a very small piece of land. They personally attend every crop from seed to harvest.

 

At Excelsior Farm they go beyond just organic. They grow using minimal fossil fuels, minimal tillage, and biologically intensive growing methods.
