Part of the United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary Network, at Fern Hill Nursery, they have been growing plants for gardeners in the Eugene area since 2005.  In order to minimize duplication of efforts, they don't grow annual vegetable starts, fruit trees, nor exotic ornamentals without a practical use.  Instead, they focus on native plants, perennial vegetables like asparagus and horseradish, fruiting shrubs like currants and gooseberries, and perennials used to make herbal medicine like echinacea and Oregon grape.  Their mission is to support the vibrant health of family, friends, community, and the land around us. They propagate and cultivate a diverse array of edible, medicinal, native, and locally adapted plants to share with gardeners and farmers in our bioregion.  They are a family business and hope to keep it that way.
